Stachio Chocolate
Stachio Chocolate is a fictional confectionary company based in Sicily, Italy that is known for its authentic family recipes and artisan pistachio chocolate. I designed a full visual identity system that covered logo development, packaging, social media, and more, that ended up winning a student Silver Addy Award at Cedar Valley’s 2025 AAF American Advertising Awards Competition.

The Challenge
Timeless Yet Innovative
Stachio needed a rebrand that preserved the timeless confectionary values from its Italian family-owned heritage while appealing to a contemporary audience. What resulted was a complete identity refresh for the confectionary company.
The Process
Market Research
At this stage, a S.W.O.T. analysis was completed to better understand the company’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities for growth, and its competition.
Strengths: Stachio’s strengths relied on its heritage, natural ingredients, and its steadfast loyalty to its customers and local community.
Weaknesses: At the other end of the spectrum, Stachio’s initial branding was identified as an area of weakness, maintaining a rift between the company and its international consumers.
Opportunities and Competition: To keep Stachio ahead of its competitors, which included well-branded international companies like Amedei and Godiva and on top of market-trends, sustainability in packaging and ingredient sourcing was noted as an area to be utilized.

Application System
The deliverables for this project included design for product packaging, invitations, banners, merchandise, environmental graphics, stationary and social media graphics. The brand’s voice and identity was maintained as a result of consistent application throughout print and digital touch points.
